I value photography and photojournalism as a way to connect people and hope to use it to initiate meaningful dialogues. 

I try to stay aware of how different skin tones appear in photos. Most manufacturers' cameras are calibrated to lighter skin tones, so I take special care when editing to ensure I accurately represent everyone in-frame.
